Produced by the dating website, MyDatingAdviser.com, the ‘World Dating Report 2021’ offers singletons across the world a guide to the best countries for dating and finding love.

The report explores an overview of the best countries for dating based on the perception of its residents' friendliness, fun, sexiness, trustworthiness, and approach-ability.

The dating report also looks at the countries with the best and worst male lovers. This report also highlights countries where Tinder is used the most to connect with local residents using the Passport feature.

Data has been sourced from a list of the best countries for dating from U.S. News & World Report. Data is also taken from Tinder’s Most-Swiped Passport Destinations Report - the app calculated the top cities in the world to find love using their passport feature.

Further statistics are taken from the 2010 OnePoll survey, where 15,000 women from 20 nationalities named the country with the worst and the best male lovers.

NOTE: Values based on the U.S. News & World Report, which has derived a list of the best places to date using responses only from Millennial-aged participants.

THE RESEARCH

U.S. News & World Report compiled a list of the best countries in the world, and it derived a list of the best places to date as a Millennial from that other main list.

The U.S. News & World Report which have been drawn from surveys of 16,200 citizens from 60 countries ages 14 to 35 years. Each country was scored on five attributes: friendliness, fun, sexiness, trustworthiness, and approach-ability.

BRAZIL VOTED THE BEST COUNTRY FOR DATING

Brazil was voted the top country for dating and second on the “best lover’s” list, which may come as no surprise with its warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Known for its beaches, sport, and beautiful people, Brazil was ranked as being fun, friendly, sexy and approachable.

POPULAR CITIES FOR TINDER

Popular cities for Passport users on Tinder include Berlin, Moscow, Stockholm, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Melbourne L.A., Auckland and Dublin.

MEXICANS ARE HAPPY - AND HAVING AFFAIRS

48% of singles in Mexico City say they’re having a good time - although they are most likely to have an affair.

This is 40 percent versus 28 percent across the other cities (Time Out’s Best Cities Report).

Mexico ranked 10th for the best country for dating in the U.S. News & World Report.

5 BEST COUNTRIES FOR DATING

In descending order the top five choices for Millenials (people raised around technology, aged 18-35) were Brazil, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

THE WORLD'S BEST LOVERS ARE IN SPAIN

Women from 20 nations rated Latin countries at the top of the "best lover" list, with Spain at number one.

Spain was followed by Brazil, Italy, and France (OnePoll.com survey 2010).

5 WORST COUNTRIES FOR DATING

Iran ranked as the worst country for singles to date, according to U.S. News & World Report.

This is followed by Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria in the top five worst countries for dating.

MARRIED NIGERIANS ON TINDER

Nigeria has been ranked as the 8th worst country for dating (U.S. News & World Report). According to the Economist, Tinder is not the place to go to find a serious relationship in Nigeria.

On the app, it's more common to find already-married men or women who are openly looking for sugar daddies than people who are actively looking to date.

NO DATING ALLOWED IN IRAN

The problem with dating in Iran is very simple: you can’t.

Men and women meeting one-on-one can get you thrown in jail, so your choices are either an arranged marriage or a “trial marriage”.

Dating websites like Tinder are banned in Iran, but about 350 unofficial dating websites are believed to exist. You can get around this by installing a VPN on your phone – an app that bounces your phone location to another, more lenient, part of the world.

THE WORLD'S WORST LOVERS ARE IN GERMANY

A poll from global research site OnePoll.com, which asked 15,000 women to rate the world's best and worst lovers found that German men topped the worst list because they were deemed "too smelly.''

The Germans were followed closely by the English, who were considered "too lazy," while the Swedes, who came in third, were accused of being "too quick to finish."
